We are thrilled to share one of the most significant days in a young person’s life with you, your families, friends, and relatives. This document includes essential information to ensure your experience at the graduation ceremony is smooth and memorable.
Guests can choose seating on both sides of the Honey Bowl Stadium. The home and visitor’s sides will be open to accommodate attendees, allowing them to select seating on either side of the stadium according to their preference. This arrangement ensures ample space for all guests to comfortably enjoy the ceremony in a setting that best suits their viewing needs.
The UHS Graduation Ceremony will provide a shuttle service for guests. The shuttle will run from the UCISD Soccer Field on N. Camp St. to two designated loading/drop-off points at the Honey Bowl (E. Frio St. and E. Sabinal St.) from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and after the graduation ceremony.
The graduation ceremony will end with a Recessional. Please do your best to plan for a post-ceremony meet-up location with your graduate. Guests will not be allowed onto the field. The graduates will be released through the Field House on Sabinal Street.
All graduation ceremony guests should expect to undergo a security screening/metal detection upon entering the Honey Bowl. The screening process includes a bag check. To expedite the process, guests are encouraged to bring clear bags or bags no larger than a 1-gallon plastic bag (large bags/backpacks will not be permitted).
Anyone refusing to participate in the security screening will not be permitted to enter the facility.
If you cannot go through a magnetometer, let a security guard know, and they will accommodate you.
During the graduation ceremony at the Honey Bowl, guests can purchase snacks and drinks from concession stands on both the stadium's home and visitor sides. Outside food will not be permitted to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. These arrangements allow everyone to enjoy refreshments without the hassle of bringing their own, making the celebration more enjoyable for graduates and their families.
The Honey Bowl stadium offers designated handicapped parking facilities to ensure accessibility for all guests. These parking spaces are conveniently located inside the southwest gate, which can be accessed by individuals displaying a valid handicap placard. This arrangement not only complies with ADA regulations but also facilitates easy entry and exit for visitors with mobility impairments, providing them closer to the venue for a more comfortable experience.
To access handicap parking please take Oppenheimer Street onto Knox Street to the Southwest gate of the Honey Bowl. (use the graphic below for reference)

We appreciate our guests’ acceptance and understanding of the necessary measures to ensure that all who attend the Uvalde High School Graduation Ceremony have a positive, safe, secure, and memorable experience.
